How to change language in windows 10

You need to use different language in your windows 10 laptop/desktop computer? Don’t worry your computer has a default system language pack set in windows 10, which you can download and install as addition language for your windows.

How to install language for windows 10

If your laptop/desktop computer is off, turn it on and make sure that you sign in with administrative account. Then press windows + I simultaneously to open the settings and then click Time & Language (Speech, Region, Date).

Click on Region & Language on your left side, then click Add language

The add language open window will show you available language to be installed. Search your language on search bar.

On your right at the bottom of Add language you will see any language you have installed. Click on that language you have installed. Tap on language you will see three options that are set as default, Options and Remove. Click on set as default, which changes the language of the user account you’re currently using.

For the changes to be applicable in both default settings of the windows system language used in built in administrator, on start menu and shutdown screen. So you need to change the display language from the default settings.

Open the Control Panel, under clock, Language and Region click Language>click Add a language.

On your left at the top click advanced settings.

 

Click on Apply language settings to the welcome screen, system accounts and new user accounts. 

You will see the pop up window with three options Format, Location, Administrative. Under administrative click the copy settings button.

Now done, Reboot your laptop/desktop computer up on restart you will be able to see the new default language set to your operating system.
