How to tether an internet connection with an android phone
You can use your phone as a modem what you need to do
is to tether your android phone and a computer at your home. Also you can share
your cellular data with your friends at school or offices especially if their computers
have capability to discover your computer on the network. USB tethering doesn’t
require you to turn off Wi-Fi radio as Wi-Fi hotspot do.

connection to other devices such as Laptop or desktop via USB cable.

Steps to tether an internet connection
Connect your phone to a computer via USB cable, wait
for some installation to proceed (a computer need to recognize the USB cable),
will take few seconds.
With your phone home screen apps find and tap on
Settings (gear icon),
Under Networks & Connections , Click Tethering
& portable hotspot second from the bottom, tap on USB tethering when you
USB is recognised by windows will respond and check mark the USB tethering, Now
internet tethering is activated for your device.
Your computer will create new profile for your internet
and recognize your device (phone) as modem, and prompt to you pop up window
requires you to decide whether you want your PC to be discovered by other PCs
and devices on your network. Also you can do this manually. Tap the internet
icon on task bar you will be able to see the created network, click the created
network now you can turn it on or off.
