Turn on your phone in case
your phone is turned off.
Check at the middle of the
phone screen tap the rectangular grid of white dots, will open up the
applications folder
Now after the folders of
the application has been opened, find and tap the whatsapp application
At the top right corner of
the opened whatsapp application tap menu button (three vertical dots), and to
some smartphone three vertical dots are located at the bottom left or bottom
right, also might look different to some phone devices.
The list of options will
be given to you, select settings
Under settings, selects
Chats (the comment icon)
Under Chats, select
wallpaper: you will be given the option to select, tap Gallery to open the
storage you saved your picture/image, might be internal storage or memory or SD
card.
Next to Gallery click
three vertical dots at top right hand, click my picture.
Tap on the picture, and then
drag the photo to adjust the screen: now, to reorder the image swipe with your
finger to the bottom. Top, right or left until the picture is how you want it
to be.
Tap on Set located at the
bottom right next to cancel to set your picture as your whatsapp window
