The most annoying thing to my beautiful android phone is at home screen, I prefer to use whole home screen placed with widgets or apps but the Google search bar uses this space.

Google has placed Google search bar with small voice microphone, as one of the strategy to grow up and encouraging people to use Google Now services and reach more people since percentage of android phone user around the world increases every day. 

Google hope, when people see the search bar on home screen will be easy for them to use their services instead of opening the browser like chrome, that’s why in stock market of latest android phone come with the Google search bar with small voice microphone icon to your phone home screen at the top, left or right. 

If you never used it, and is there as a decolaration minimizing the row of your home screen, you can still get rid of it and free up a row so that you can use it to place apps or widget on your home screen.  

Remove Google search bar android 

Removing the Google Search bar from android phone home screen is easy but differs from phones. You can still removing the bar as you would to any other home screen apps but this still not work in some other phone like Sony.

In this article below I will be providing to you tips on how you can do it on Techno and Samsung phone, but similar step still work in many android phone.

First step. Tap and hold on the Google search bar at least two seconds.

Second steps: Move onto Trash/delete icon at the top of your home screen. Now done

• Try disabling the Google app now also from the app setting.

At home screen tap Settings>>Apps, tap on the Google App Search, then press disable and restart your phone for changes to take place. 

NOTE: Make sure you use this step only if you’re running phone with a customer launcher otherwise may soft-brick your android device.

Hit and hold from any empty row on your home screen, hit the widgets that appear at the bottom of your home screen, Traverse the folder with Google tap and hit it, drag and drop the search bar from the folder to space you want to place the search bar.

• Use the custom launcher to remove the Google search bar from your android

The launcher is mainly an App that allows you to customize your home screen according to your need and the way you need to interact with. The Apps is available on Google play store you can download free.

One launcher I use to my phone is the Nova Launcher, which allows you to manage your home screen and customize your device with intuitive live preview settings

Another best launcher to use is ZenUI Launcher, which allows you to group your apps into categories according to the function and easy swipe down to find everything you need.
