Android keyboard not working on Huawei Ascend Y520, solved

Huawei ascend 520, is one of my best smartphone I have ever used. It runs android operating system. It allows you to connect to the internet much faster. Also allows you to connect very fast to nearby devices since come with Wi-Fi support.

But two weeks ago, I got the question from someone asking, “When he tries to type number 6 on his phone keyboard it keeps counting up to 100 while displaying Manchester United text. Check the error below.

“My phone keyboard doesn't respond when I type number six, it keeps display Manchester United, I don't know why!”?

I decide to work on the problem, and come up with the solution. So I decide to share with you in case you face the same challenge. Do this to fix the issue.

  • Reboot your phone
This is the best step to start with before you decide otherwise try to reboot your phone and check to see if the problem is fixed, don’t despise this step, may get your phone keyboard working good.

  • Clear keyboard cache and data
If the first option didn’t work for you, try to clear cache and data of your phone keyboard, this is possible even if you installed third party keyboard. Follow the step to clear cache and data, at your phone home screen tap on settings, under system tap on Apps (the windows icon), scroll down find and tap your keyboard app.  Now under storage you can clear data and cache.

  • Reset your phone
If both two option above, didn’t work for you, try to reset your phone. I don’t recommend you to start with this option direct, unless otherwise you have tried two options above and brings negative result to you.
Do this to reset your phone, from your phone home screen, tap on settings, under system tap Backup & Reset, then under backup & reset tap on factory data reset; now you can reset your phone.
